Participating Organizations

The National Employment Equity Council (NEC) brings together participating organizations from across Canada, including labour unions, human rights organizations, employers, academic institutions, community organizations, to advance employment equity through collaboration, policy engagement and national dialogue.

Participating organizations contribute expertise, perspectives and experience to the Council’s work on employment equity while retaining their independence and individual mandates. Together, they support a coordinated national approach to advancing, monitoring and protecting employment equity in Canada.
